DS (7) already has a dx of a language disorder (recently amended to mild word finding difficulties) and this morning he was finally dx with dyspraxia.

Once we get the written report, he will be starting regular treatment but am just wondering about the best resources for reading up on the subject. Am also interested in support groups/activities for children. Thanks.

The Dyspraxia Foundation is a good start:

loads of info on there

Well, I seem to have it, according to the clinical psychologist who did my ASD assessment, but I've not had to find much in the way of resources so far.

Well worth getting in contact with the links from the BBC Health website at www.bbc.co.uk/health/conditions/dyspraxia2.shtml who should be able to direct you to local support and activities too.

How do you feel, though? I'd think you need a decent cuppa, at the very least?

Also may be some stuff of interest on her, regarding motor skill development etc

Thanks very much. Will take a link at all the links.

Thanks Amber, felt a bit done-in earlier even though the dx was expected/wanted iykwim. Wine has helped
