Has anyone said "Aspergic" yet? There again, I always think "Aspergic" sounds like someone needs to hand over some anti-acids for indigestion "I'm feeling a bit Aspergic today"

I say 'my dd's are Autistic', i have never said 'autistic girl'.

I also say 'dd1 has Aspergers' i don't like 'aspergic'.

I have also had people ask me 'what things do they do that make them Autistic' this always makes me feel a bit odd .

Aspergic was the first descriptive word I heard for someone with AS and that was about 10 years ago. It seems to be used less. It means you have to use a hard G in Asperger for it to work though and most people don't. DS IS autistic and my sister HAS Aspergers in my language, don't know why the difference, just the ease of language I think.
