found all this on the internet yesterday...bit mushy...but think it is appropriate:

Be who you are and say what you feel,
Because those who mind don't matter,
and those who matter don't mind.

*

Flatter me, and I may not believe you.
Criticize me, and I may not like you.
Ignore me, and I may not forgive you.
Encourage me, and I will not forget you.
Love me and I may be forced to love you.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal:
It is the courage to continue that counts.

I've learned that ?
People will forget what you said,
People will forget what you did,
But?
People will never forget how you made them feel

Can you laminate a cow?

Davros · 21/04/2005 17:39

We could have a go..... could make a great new TV prog. A team that goes round the country trying out laminating challenges. Start with a cow and end up with the Post Office Tower..... MrsF for team captain. We could print my deeeeliteful poem on our t-shirts (with new ending)

can i sit at the front of our 'Laminator Bus'....hey maybe we could grab some publicity and follow around the political buses...and kill two birds with 1 stone...bring up a few issues regarding Autism etc.......

MrsF - Have you ever thought of setting up a business or writing a book with all your masterclass ideas? A definite "yes please!" to the Publisher ideas. Ds2 is driving me mad at the moment and I think some visual stuff might help. He's got a SALT session soon so I'll ask then about when he should be ready for that.

Hopefully the new T-shirt will be printed without all my typos. "Speace" sounds like I was typing on a Scottish keyboard or something.

So, when the cow is laminated do we have to velcro it to a barn or something?

beccaboo · 22/04/2005 10:10

Excellent, we can stage a game, throw the laminated cow at the barn - the person with the most cows still stuck at the end wins..... It'll run and run.

Didn't Damien Hirst laminate a cow??!!

coppertop · 22/04/2005 21:08

Count me in for the cow-hurling game! If we laminate a few pigs and sheep we could add a whole new scoring system: 25 points for a cow, 10 for a pig and 5 for a sheep.

I'm still waiting for the news headlines: "Headteacher, Paediatrician and SENCO found laminated! Laminated confession letter found at the scene, velcroed to the fridge!"

TheRealMrsF · 22/04/2005 21:21

We could have magnets for the amateur league and velcro for the pro league?
