Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

I am feeling quite happy,for once,it looks like dd will posibly have a place at a special needs school...yay!

Certainly for nursery.The lady from the physical disability team seemed to think this would also be a possibility when she gets to school age.I think it would be best place for her as she would get appropriate support.The ed psych seemed to think MS would be the way to go from 5+ but we shall see.I personally feel given dds development so far that a SN school would be better all round from but time will tell.I am just pleased she is getting a statement.Hurrah!

glad you are sounding chirpier wt and have something to feel pleased / excited about

my dd has started full time nursery at sn school - been there a year just slowly building up. We are all v happy with it

That is good news! It is such a relief to get a suitable nursery/school place.

Thats fab The early years are very important in establishing nursery/school. Even if your DD is just there for nursery, she will benefit from it immensely (hopefully)

my lb may be getting early entry to a sn school nursery in sept and he wont be 3 till xmas
