ive just phoned up about single vaccines instead of a mmr booster for dd4!am i right thinking that £475 is a bargain if it prevents her condition from worsening?!.she was "averege" in hitting her milestones up untill she had the first mmr, and although i cant prove the jag caused her to be the way she is (developmental delays, suspected autism),i dont want her to have the repeat jag.anyone had singles? how did it go?

I was thinking about getting single jabs for dd2, i am not sure if her first mmr affected her as we didn't really notice she had ASD until she was 2.3 but i do worry about her having the booster. I think i will talk to her GP before going ahead with her booster.

Can't remember the cost of the singles we had but that sounds a bit expensive to me. If its the booster then don't get her singles, get a blood test to find out if she is already immune. We had one done for DD a month or so ago and it cost £100 and she IS immune as are most children. They onlyb give the booster to capture the small percentage who don't get immunity the first time round but its easier just to give it to everyone. We went to Holborn Medical Practice, you can Google it. HTH.

Yes. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Very child-friendly, quick and helpful.
