Changing mat for an older child - anybody know where to buy one?

My ds is doubly incontinent and we need a fold-away changing mat (waterproof/PVC backed) that is about 5ft (60") in length x 2ft (30") in width. I've had a look on the Internet but so far have drawn a blank. Fledglings used to sell a good mat but it has been discontinued and the other mat they sell is too big once folded up.

I have thought about buying a picnic mat but they are always square shaped, not rectangular, which again means that they are very big/bulky once folded up.

I can't believe other families haven't encountered this problem - does anybody know of a supplier who sells larger changing mats, ready made or bespoke? Thanks.

An update....was in ELC today and hidden at the back of the bargain shelf was a large plastic farmyard playmat! Reduced from £6 to £3, it's just the right thickness and the diagonal length is over 6ft!! Just the job!

I know you have got something now but whilst in ikea again today I found a waterproof sheet with a soft cotton topside-its 120cm x 70cm and cost £3.91! I am going to sew a square pot holder on to it as a head rest 9also rom ikea and put ties on it so that it can be folded up small. Tried it against my husband and it reaches past his bottom so it should be big enough for ds!! (also for dh if he ever needs me to change his bum!!

monstermansmum, had a look on the ikea website and could only find this one, its 100cm x 70cm and £4.49.
Is it the same idea?

It's good that you've also found something that will work because these large changing mats just don't seem to be readily available. Next time I'm in IKEA, I'll check out their waterproof sheets because it's good to have a back-up changing mat!

my mistake sorry!! checked my receipt and it was £4.49 even tho it said £3.91 on the shelf . I was also sure it was 120cm long but looking at it now, having thrown the bag away, it is more like 100cm. I couldnt be bothered waiting for ikea link-computer is soooo sloooow, but its called LEN and its the only one I saw. I looked for a single bed size but they only do a fitted one. Never-the-less, it is still long enough to reach past dh's bottom if you include a pad as a pillow/headrest. I did look at sewing a frog cushion on instead as they already have ties attached, but it makes it a bit bulkier, but better looking .

HOWEVER IF YOU WANT SOMETHING MORE COMFORTABLE FOR HOME USE HAVE YOU TRIED THE PRE-SCHOOL CATOLOGUES UNDER SLEEP MATS. E.G. "The consortium" fold up sleep mat (120 X 60 cm)£17.49 excluding vat. "HOPE EDUCATIONAL" does not fold up but looks quite comfy(127 X 51cm)£34.95 excluding vat (bit more expensive and difficult to store). They all have wipe clean surfaces.HOPE THIS INFO. HELPS.
