At least I hope they are. Yesterday and today have been really good in boosting awareness about disability, although both experiences are VI related.

As you may or may not know, I've been doing some work experience, which is good, and people are generally accepting of me now, also good. Anyway, was talking to one of the newer guys yesterday (graduate of our uni) and was explaining about my sight. He was pretty supportive and I got a new comeback to an old question.

"How did you end up doing Media Production with sight so bad?" he asks.

"Insanity." says I, then elaborated about being determined etc.

Anyway, today was our film screening for our 3rd project, and there were 2 films about VI, and both were informative and inoffensive, so that was great!

I just wish the guy who directs me on my work experience was a little more understanding, I don't think he gets my sight and I get the impression that it's annoying him that I'm not picking things up right away (this isn't the lecturer who runs it but another guy, the lecturer is great!).
