It seems strange to have a child thats dry through the night first, but is it possible this will kick start the problems of day wetting?

ohhhh, i don't know, but i'm crossing my fingers for you. ds1 is the same (only 7 though) and tbh i'm just about at the end of my tether with it.
have you used an enuresis alarm or is it just happening naturally? i've always said i'm not bothered about the night stuff at the mo, just the day, but maybe it could happen the other way round...

Hi, no, not used any alarms, ds has ASD and his anxiety triggers accidents, he has had several tests and there is nothing physically wrong with the workings of his bladder, so they are pretty sure it will sort itself out eventually, also his sensory issues means often he is'nt even aware he has had an accident.

Oh and I know what you mean about being at the end of your tether, 5 years of toilet training does take its toll

well done ds then! (and well done dilemma lol - fingers crossed for daytime...) they tell me there is nothing wrong with ds's bladder either, ho hum - ultrasound etc all normal. currently been on meds for six months which seems to have had no effect at all... trialling an alarm at the mo.

Ds was put on meds last year, they did'nt work for him either.

Don't know if this will help anybody, but my DD1 (4 yrs) has AS and used to have daytime incontinence when stressed/upset. It was almost 'cured' by taking salicylate containing food out of her diet. Is also the first thing to return if she eats anything with sals in, so not exactly 'cured' but 'controlled'.
Thought it may be worth mentioning, hope you don't mind me hijacking! and congrats for your night time success!!
