This is now available from the Challenging Behaviour Foundation. The DVS shows how a functional assessment may be used to understand challenging behaviour and identify ways of supporting behaviour change in individuals with severe learning disabilities. Produced primarily for family carers, this resource also provides a useful introduction and refresher for professionals. The families? stories demonstrate the importance of a functional assessment and provide insight into positive ways to support families.

Running time 70 minutes (approx).

Family carers: Free of charge, donations welcome

have taken note of the website, thanks monstermansmum!
DS is still only 4 and although he can be difficult (but mostly extremely sweet!), we are still able to control him.
Have heard from other people that as the children grow older things can change.

Yes thanks monstermansmum. Have also bookmarked for future use (school transition and puberty are not far away) Someone posted a few months ago wanting this sort of help but I dont remember who.
