It is the bring forward the Autism Bill which should hopefully ensure a better future for our children.

The Autism bill :-

Strengthen information about the numbers of people with autism and their needs, in order to improve local planning of services
Improve inter-agency working to secure effective transition for young people with autism who are moving from child to adult services
Ensure access to appropriate support and services for people with autism in adult life.

The link for the petition is here

Many thanks

Done it and won't forget to chase MP for reply either!

Oh and bump!

hereidrawtheline · 29/01/2009 22:17

Well me and my DH both did it and to two different MP's & DH got a lovely letter (to his work) from that MP saying he fully supports it and will be there to vote and thank you for bringing it to his attention!! So it worked!

MaryBS · 30/01/2009 08:13

I've done it, but my MP won't be there. Shame on you, Malcolm Moss!

PeachyBAHonsPRSCertOnRequest · 30/01/2009 08:22

Done it- well did it the other day. MP said he doesn't know yet if he will be there but if he is he'll vote for it. Thanks then Paul FLynn.

TallulahToo · 30/01/2009 22:53

I did it yesterday but still not reply from my MP! Anyone actually had a reply declining to support the bill?

Has anyone asked their MP WHY they won't or might not be there?

hereidrawtheline · 31/01/2009 09:45

I had another reply from our other MP we sent it to saying he was supporting it too.

misscutandstick · 31/01/2009 11:40
