In another thread you mentioned that you "took measures to avoid ds2's problems". I would be interested to know what measures that you took.
DS1 who is 2.4 may be on the mild end of the spectrum. Ds2 is 6mths is very similar to how ds1 was as a baby and if there is anything that could help him we would like to try it.
Thanks

Bumping for you.

I'm not pagwatch, but one of the Hanen books is a programme for at risk children I believe. www.hanen.org.

Jute might also be able to help - she did the same for her DS3. If she's not around you could try the archives.

I had a look on the Hanen website and I guess the book you mean is You and Your Baby: Building Communication. It states that it is an adaption of It Takes Two to Talk for high risk infants.
We already have It Takes Two to Talk so does this book have any new information or is it just a condensed version with only the information about Discoverers?
Thx

Hi Ellie

sorry I have only just seen this !

For DD we avoided gluten and dairy for the first couple of years. I had EFAs during the pregnancy and gave her omegas as soon as I could get them into her. And I delayed and avoided most vaccinations.
