Here are some suggested organisations that offer expert advice on special needs.

Oh bugger, ds3's 1-1 is being dismissed. What do I do?

It's a contractual dispute, 1-1 doesnt know yet but she did give an ultimatum to Head so she knows it is a possibility. I didnt want to know before her, I am yet again seriosuly unimopressed at the confidentiality rules at the school, but that's not my dilemma here.

DS3 will hopefully taking a place in SNU in the next few months, we'd like hal;f term but that depends on a few deadline that are tight and it might be Easter. There is of course a chance anel will refuse his palce, but SENCO feels unlikely and if that happens we will appeal.

If he gets the plce (or if it goes to appeaql in that matter) what do I do? Like any ASD child change isn't his forte. He might not meltdown and hit out like ds1, but it does affect him and there will be repercussions- toiletting and speech are classics in our experience.

It seems somewhat unfair to let him be palced with a new 1-1 for a few weeks then mov him again (not to say unfair on 1-1 to get a job then be sacked again when ds3 moves on, as will happen).

My instinct is to pull him for home ed for a short time between placements. Lckily I am at home atm with our youngest. But there will be things I can't do as well, and there is the problem that at home he becomes obsession led and will only co-operate with things linked to either the PC or bionicles- writing is a no go for example (even if bionicle related).

I am unimpressed at the whole caboodle- when ds3 took up the place they promised stability then pormoted his last 1-1 after a term FT (July, April start)eare we go again! ALso not happy that I ahve to do X handovrs with 1-1 who is lovely adn I know through the Juniors as well, knowing she has this to come and not being able to tell her.

And of course wondering what info about us is in the general area it shouldn't be...

panel, not anel

though if you read anel as an amalgamation of panel and anal that's fairly accuate ime.

oh bugger what a nuisance. presumably the inconvenience of having him at home would outweigh the risk of regression? have school said when her last day of work is likely to be?

I'm quite happy to have him at home, I he'd him at first and can easily slip back into it.

They haven't given me a date, I got the distinct impression it was immediate though. I know she can easily sue them on employment law but Head seems very ill informed on these matters.
