DD is 7months old, has CP and dx quad, she can mildly support herself. Anyhoo I need ideas on a pushchair which will have more support than a general one.

Dont really need it at the mo but going on holiday when she will be 13months and I dont really want to have to keep her lying flat all the time.

Spoke to her OT today who thought a Micralite easyfold, but would look into it.....I have seen just unberella strollers which have proper headhuggers, would that work?

Sorry if this is a bit rambled.

I had a micralite easyfold for my son, and they are great prams, very light. He has autism though, not CP, so not sure on the suitability. The seat itself isnt supported by a frame, its more like a hammock style, but the head part does go into a point with a large head hugger, which supported my sons head quite good when he was asleep.

Thanks, she does have some movement and is able to support herself a little bit, the head is the main worry, hopefully she wont be bobbing it about too much by then.

The suspension on them is really good, so going over bumpy paths etc wouldnt make her "bob" too much IYKWIM.

I have a petite star zia buggy, similar to a quinny but it does recline to lie flat, my dd has CP, and her head control has always been poor and I think I had this buggy from about 7 months. She loves it and so do I, and great thing is that you can adjust the back easily so if they are sleepy or tired and dont want to be so uprightthey can lie back more.

It fold very easily and I originally got it to take on holiday.

They are hard to find in the shops to have a look at tho!

I think the larger Boots shops have the Zias in to look at.
