I saw sections of it on a blog and it infuriated me immensely.

i get very angry about all this teating, yet no mention about the totally avoidable cause of CP. IE hospital cock ups, I always wonder why it never gets a mention, yet most of the young people I know are disabled because of it.

can I just say that I don't admire any of you. as per my comment on the other thread...

SixSpotBurnet · 05/12/2008 12:45

The original article reduced me to angry tears. "Damaged families..."

2AdventSevenfoldShoes · 05/12/2008 12:47

wannaBe I admire you for saying that though..

SixSpotBurnet I know, to me that means people who abuse their kids and families like that.
I look at my family and we are so not damaged, in fact the oposite.

I know, 2shoes.

I think having DS3 in our family is a positive thing, not a negative.

Of course I worry about the future after I've gone, and so on - it's my biggest worry, same as for all of us - but the answer is "put better provision in place" not "don't produce 'damaged' (sic) children ".
