dd screaming all afternoon. High pitched hysterical. So took her to A&E. Docs can find nothing wrong so we're home, she's still yelling. Dunno what to do now

Sorry I can't be any more help than that

glitteryb6 · 01/12/2008 20:15

could she be sensing her coming op?

TotalChaos · 01/12/2008 20:16

sorry you had such a crappy day.

feelingbitbetter · 01/12/2008 20:23

I've had a fair bit of high pitched hysteria lately (improving now, thankfully) so I completely sympathise. But then, I know what's wrong so it makes it a bit easier to deal with.
Glittery could be on to something. She is a bright girl, I wonder if she's picked up how worried you are, especially now that it is this week?
At least Dr.s have found nothing wrong, which is a frustration in itself, I know xx

mumgoingcrazy · 01/12/2008 20:53

Sorry you've had such an awful day. Hope tomorrow is a better one for you. I'm not sure what the op is but good luck with it. xx

madmouse · 01/12/2008 21:00

sorry, that must be exhausting. Is your dp home, can you escape for an hour? I know that does not help her.

Are you happy with the conclusion that nothing is wrong?

bullet123 · 01/12/2008 22:26

How is she now?

needmorecoffee · 02/12/2008 07:46

we had to sedate her to sleep. she seems better this mroning but I'm paranoid she wont kick her left leg. Hasthe hip come out? Is the leg broken by the new carer on sunday?
The consultant did check every inch of her at A&E clearly looking for broken bones which makes you paranoid as a parent.
Would like her to stay home but dh is her carer and he wants her to go to school

thenewme · 02/12/2008 07:53

Can you stay home with her?

BriocheDoree · 02/12/2008 07:54

NMC I hope she picks up soon. How worrying for you . Who takes her to school - does she have a carer at school who will keep a close eye on her for you?

needmorecoffee · 02/12/2008 07:56

I am home but am unable to lift her or even hold her as I lost use of my right arm on sunday (I have MS).
School has one to one PA and she is taken by taxi but if she starts screaming there's no way to fetch her home.
