Has anyone been filmed for the Hanen Program ?

We are being filmed tomorrow but I'm panicking about what to (try to ) get DS1 to do for the camera. What do they expect ? We have been filmed before at the hospital and it went surprisingly well but there was no warning beforehand so the play was unforced and natural.

I really hope so! He did a clever thing today - he's off school with asthma, but I was thinking I might take him for his weekly haircut (aka wrestling match) after lunch, as he's not really ill as such. So I said
'DS2, haircut after lunch'
DS2: No
Me: (using Hanen techinique) Don't want haircut! But we have to go.
DS2: (Puts hand up to mouth and does some fake throat clearing). Cough! Cough!

I will admit to you that in the past I've counted 'ah' as a word (as in noise you make when you're cuddling someone) and also 'ana' which means 'accidents' in DS2-speak

that's nothing. I've got "Neptune" (yep, as in the planet) on one of my more desperate lists!

Our Hanen leaders never showed the videos in class, as so many parents hated the thought of their houses being seen!

But 'Neptune' is brilliant!

Neptune would be brilliant if he'd really understood it was the name of a planet. But he's struggling to understand what the sun is, let alone planets. All he really understood was that it was the name of one of the balls on DS1's solar system game .

And he's definitely forgotten even that since we broke the toy!
