Autism and Milk

I have just read an article on five news news.five.tv/news.php?news=1275here suggesting the usual milk we get is bad for autism but guernsey milk is different.
My son does drink a fair amount of milk so might give it a try, if i can get some.

What do other mumsa/dads of autism think?

I've been wondering about this Debs, was going to trial soya milk for a week. I've found out ds is requesting and drinking lots of milk while at nursery so need to also switch it there..

There was a thread about 5-6 days ago - can't find it. Have tried tesco and asda. Both have goats, soya and channel island milk but no 'a2' milk that I can see.

My son and daughter are free from gluten dairy and soya. Also "artificials", which send my daughter into a tizz of hyperactivity. Son used to get ear infections every time I tried to introduce cow's milk - took me some time to make the connection. They are both hugely improved - she was never very bad anyway, but he no longer gets sick all the time and his ADOS score has jumped from borderline full blown autism to borderline "normal" - although he is definitely aspergers.

They said Sainsbury's did a channel island milk that was just guernsey but now it is a mix of jersey and guernsey.
It is weird how dairy can have such an effect until you remember that we are the only species which drinks another species milk
