I'm so made up for her. She's at mainstream and this is the first time she's ever had an invite.

That's wonderful news .

TotalChaos · 07/11/2008 15:18

You do realise you'll have to sit through a party too . As for pressies - I find whatever is on offer at Woolies or a book that looks decent that's cheap at Supermarket or bargain bookshop seems to work OK.

feelingbitbetter · 07/11/2008 15:35

Lovely

feelingbitbetter · 07/11/2008 15:37

PS I'm told that Peppa pig is a big fave, Roary the racing car and the old faithfull - Postman Pat. You can tell I've recently bought for aa 5 yr old boy

pipintroll · 07/11/2008 15:41

That's lovely

needmorecoffee · 07/11/2008 15:58

its another girl. I am wondering if I will find a room full of non-disabled children tough. The ugly wossname of jealousy still rears up from time to time and its hard seeing kids the same age
But dd seemed pleased. I had to explain what a party was!

nmc awww thats great please try to enjoy it with dd?

dustystar · 07/11/2008 16:07

How about one of those pencil sets with matching rubber, ruleer, sharpener etc. Something cute with animals on. Wilkos do some for a reasonable price.

BriocheDoree · 07/11/2008 16:33

My DD is nearly five and is into princesses so anything pretty and sparkly (e.g. dustystar's idea with pencil set). Wow, I'm so jealous as DD has never had a party invite except from my friends!

oh nmc
so pleased for your dd
hope she has a lovely time

feelingbitbetter · 07/11/2008 18:37

Agree with other posters, anything pink, fluffy, sparkly or princessy should do the trick.

LollipopViolet · 07/11/2008 19:12

Awww that's fantastic! For a girl, I'd say most would appreciate anything pink, but it's been a few years since I was that age!

RaggedRobin · 07/11/2008 22:33

lovely news!

eidsvold · 07/11/2008 23:12

that is brilliant
