to sign a form?
it is the medical form for when dd goes to lourdes.

YANBU - I'd expect some sort of charge perhaps, but that sounds seriously steep.

Here it's always a tenner for medical forms. And even so my GP seems to sort of find reasons why we don't have to pay.

Surely if you explained - they would not be so mean and hard hearted. Standard charges are for standard situations.

well I am hoping... the practice manager told me to drop the form in and she would look into it. so hopefully the doc will take pity. he is nice (and has a ds with DS) so I am sure he will drop the fee if he can

I've always asked for them to waive the fee given dd is disabled and we are skint. Never had to pay yet.

i did point out that if dd wasn't disabled we wouldn't have to fill the form in.
