Could well be of interest to quite a few of us and the same gene also possibly implicated in autism.

Oooh, I was going to link to this. That's my mate (mum of Alex in the case study)that is, she was showing me the article at pre school this morning.

We have had many long chats about our DSs and their speech probs.

I remember reading something along those lines a while back - that these problems are really 'meta problems' with no specific genetic cause but more that normal genes are not regulated properly. Don't know enough to understand it though !
