sounds silly I know....
terribly exciting this morning. I sat down at breakfast and DS2 (3.2) said "mummy's toast". then "mummy eating toast".
Cue leaping in the air, general high fives, (he only connected two words on 5 Sept. I know because I posted about that too. sorry everyone. you must all feel as if you live in my house).
He's definitely connecting two words now.
I'm thinking that "daddy shoe-off" is really two words because I'm not convinced he's really cracked the difference between shoe-on and shoe-off.
But mummy eating toast? Wow, that was like Shakespeare! An early 3-word combo, dare I say?
I need to feel good about progress because at nursery he does nothing but echolalia, apparently. except once he said "no".
