Attended DS2 assembly today.
All the waythrough two people behind me were talking aboutthe assembly as it proceedd.

Comments became increasingly annoying and inappropriate like " God It must be bloody hard dealing with ones like that" " the staff have their work cut out don'tthey" " those big ones look like really hard work"

The language was all about 'those ones' and 'people like that' and how difficult to manage they must be. This was all the way through assembly.

I bit my tongue and just tried to concentrate on DS.
As we were leaving I saw the people loading all the produce the pupils had provided into their car.
they were the f*ing recipents of the donations and they had been talking about our lovely children all the way throughthe bloody assembly.

Tempted to shout at someone but not sure

Horrible ! But obviously very needy in that they are dead to any sense of decency - How awful to go through life being selfish and cruel.

They wouldn't have been the recipients though, they'd have been the intermediaries .. ie people sent by church / charity to collect the items for distribution

I would have turned round and given them the look

have a word with the head. and hopefully a more deserving cause will be found

Good point Twig.
I shouldn't tar the recipients with the behaviour of the project leaders.

I have a meeting with the school scheduled by co incidence in two weeks time. I will mention it then...

Thanks all.

Definitely mention it.

I know I am feeling stupidly emotional and rubbish today but that kind of behaviour makes me want to cry. VILE.

Who did they represent.
A very well worded and coldly formal letter would press the point home most effectively.

Arses

I agree with moondog.
