Hi,,,, im looking for advice please... my lovely mum has paid for my ds and I to go to Eurodisney for christmas and i needed some advice re the special needs passes... im told i can get them on site but is it possible to get them beforehand?.. what sort of proof do i need to take? Will his disabled car pass do? or do i need a dla letter. Im concerned they might not think he is disabled... hes profoundly deaf has adhd and other probs... would be a nightmare trying to queue with him..........

You should have no trouble. I think they give a discount if a person has a disability?

What you need is the DIS boards. It's a forum entirely run by Disneyland/world enthusiasts. It has a disability subforum who are very good with this sort of question. Hang on, "here's a linkwww.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?f=20". They'll also know what rides are good/bad, where to eat if he has sensory issues, that sort of thing.

Afaik, they are very much case-by-case rather than having a blanket disability policy, so they make no promises about queueing or whatever. In practice though I think you'll get queue jump given the nature of his disability.

LJ, we went last year and it was fantastic.
You show your blue badge and get a free carer admission on the gate.
Inside you show your blue badge at City Hall and get a pass that means you do not queue at any rides!! At most you go to the exit of the ride and they let you on the next turn.
There is also reserved seating for the shows at the front so no queues there either.

You will love it.

If you go to visit.disneylandparis.co.uk/disabled-visitors/index.xhtml about halfway down the page you can print out a "special needs" brochure. This will tell you what docs you need to qualify.
Biggest problem we had for DD was sensory overload with the v. loud music, but I guess that won't be a problem for you .
Have a lovely time!

Hi Lottie we took our dd in july we took a letter from th GP but a disabled badge will do, if you go to the town hall just inside the park when you get there they will give you an easy access pass which means you will be able to enter the attractions shows and train through the exit, which is brill because no queing you also get front row in a special area for the parades!! The staff are all great when you show your pass and very helpful, we are also going back at christmas as dd loved it so much. Have a fab time.
