School unexpectedly flagging ASD traits in daughter

So my son has always been high energy, different from his peers, he's 8, he had seizures as a baby and toddler, he was a runner/elope, bad separation anxiety and aggressive reactions to bug feelings from around 3. Couldn't sit still, very clever could multiply before p1, just really gets numbers. He's on the asd/ADHD pathway and under neuropsychology and on melatonin for a sleep disorder. We always knew there were complications. He's very sensory seeking and also sensory sensitive

My 5 yr old daughter has always been easier for want of a better word, talked early, walked slightly late, likes to hold hands, not been a runner until some very recent changes. This year she developed increasingly restricted eating, we were downtown o fruit, crackers and ready salter crisps at one point, then this summer developed a fear of the weather, makes me check weather forecast and show her symbols, terrified of dark clouds, has what looks like a panic attack / meltdown if she has to get out of the car in dark cloud expecting rain, says shes scared of the noise of the rain hitting the ground. She started school in Scotland last week, she always loved nursery, taught activities, books, letters, starting to read a little. However school has proved a nightmare. Anxious going in, says she doesn't want to be her outside self all day, nursery had a tent she could go in when upset and she says 'theres no tent so if I have a sad moment people can see me and I don't like people seeing me when I'm having a sad moment 'wveryone can see my sad' school and after school immediately flagged ASD traits and I'm another floored and guilty because she's act just exactly like me as a small child so I've missed it entirely if she is asd.

Anyone with ASD girls have any insight?
