dont try sheffield... its awful - dont believe reports that 'Ryegate' is fantastic - it isnt, takes forever to get any appointment at all, and they have very little resources unless all you want is medication.

Nottinghams not bad, short waiting times for most therapies.

I believe Utopia and Nirvana LEAs are quite good...

Sorry, the cynic in me needed to speak.

Not West Herts either - I think east herts is slightly better!

Is there a Statement in place?. Such a document is issued by the LEA. No statement will not equal support of any real value regardless of where you move to.

definately not leicestershire. Worst funded LEA in the country!

If you go for Surrey - go for the Guildford side not the Redhill side. The West side of surrey are a lot more generous and even handed than the East side who is run by a mini tyrant.

How old is your child?

Shes 7. Shes currently being assessed for ADHD by the specialist, but CAMHS said shes definitely got it. Shes also being assessed for Dyslexia. School are rubbish & ive come this far all by myself. How do I go about getting her statemented? What she really needs is a one to one TA with her in class, preferably all day, but for at least part of the day. Is this ever likely to happen?
