Banana skins! Sounds daft but within 2 weeks Ds1's verucca was gone and we had been using bazuka for about 2 months. Cut a square of banana skin, put white side over the verucca and keep in place with a plaster. Renew it each day. Will make the skin nice and soft too! Same principle as masking tape, the verucca needs air to survive so if you stop air getting to it, the verucca should go. Have heard of people using nail varnish but didn't want to try it on DS.

J had veruccas a while back and we used a chemical freezing potion on prescription from the GP. You had to use an emery board to file down the verucca then apply the liquid to freeze the tissue off, and keep doing so for about three weeks till it was all gone. It was hellish at first - filing it either hurt or tickled (depending on the location of the verucca), and J wouldn't/couldn't sit still. In his case it helped to be in a comfortable chair and watch an obsessive video while I treated his feet, but he still wasn't happy. We added in a reward for cooperation and that did the trick.

But very hard to do with AS kids - one friend who'se boy had them was in a right state trying to treat him. Can't remember how she got round it in the end.
