Hi
I've seen online that FF are now accepting applications for England, but I can't get the website to work. Is anyone else having this issue?

Can someone explain what this is and how you qualify?

Do they have funding for SN buggies?

StrivingForSleep · 14/05/2025 20:15

@Soukmyfalafel Family Fund is a charity who provide grants to some families with disabled children. The eligibility criteria are on their website.

Family Fund don’t routine grant SN buggies now. Have you tried asking wheelchair services? Although some areas will no longer fund buggies. There are other charities who can help with an SN buggy. For example, Newlife, Caudwell, Boparan Trust, Florence Nightingale Aid in Sickness Trust, Hospital Saturday fund. They all have their own eligibility criteria.

Thanks for the info. We do have one now but it is a bit rubbish really and son is getting big. He can walk, but tends to lie on floor, bolts off, drags you in another direction if he feels like it. Hes non verbal, so doesnt understand. A decent one that can go over different terrain (he likes walks in nature, but can't go far really as we can't carry him back if he's had enough) is much more than we can afford really.
