Hi everyone

I`ve been working as mainstream nanny for the past six years, and am keen to move into caring for children with special needs.

Hwoever, I do not have much experience in that department, I have looked after a deaf child for a short period of time so have some understanding of BSL. I feel I need more experience before applying for a special needs job.

So I would like to offer free help, for a few hours on a saturday or sunday once a month. I am CRB checked, qualified in first aid and will of course provide references. If you live in London, would like an (free!) extra paid of hands every month and would like to help me gain more experience, please do get in touch!

Hi Purplesocks - we're in London (Wandsworth Common) and I'd be interested in talking to you further about your offer.

I'm keen for my 3.7yo daughter who has cerebral palsy to become more confident being looked after by other people.

CAT me if you want to take this further

Hi Purplesocks,

We are just outside London, in Surrey, easy train access from Wimbledon!

My DS also has CP and I would love an extra pair of hands! If it doesn't work out with Mint Pattie please CAT me if we're not to far away.

Hi purplesocks, I have a lovely DD, 22 months, with global developmental delay. She's got mild hearing loss and is learning to communicate using Makaton.
I'd really appreciate some extra help so that I can give DS, 7, some extra time as he often misses out. We live in N16.
