Online tutoring

Our 13 year old was diagnosed with Asd and adhd last summer after years of waiting for assessments. He is very behind at school, teachers would always say he'd catch up but never has. GCSEs are starting next year and in preparation for this we want to get him some tutoring in English and maths. Has anyone used any online tutoring and found it helpful? Any recommendations? I'm hoping online will be a bit cheaper as it's about £45 an hour here for an at home tutor.
Thank you

If you want someone with SEN expertise, you aren’t going to get much cheaper than £45ph. Even online tutors with SEN experience can be more. You could look at SENsational tutors, Claire Miller - maths positive, Laura does maths, Maths by Ian, Hill tuition, Learn with SAT, and South Coast tutors.

Will online work for DD? Some with SEN find it difficult.

Alongside tuition, if that’s what you decide to do, what support is the school providing? Has DD had an assessment by an educational psychologist? Does DD have an EHCP?
