Dyspraxia and feeding problems

My DS1 has dyspraxia and when he was a baby upto the age of 3 he had alot of feeding problems. He seemed to grow out of it at that age and I thought we were over that part of it. Until now, he's now coming up to the age of 13 and in the last 6 months his eating habits have become increasing difficult. Breakfast time is the most difficult and he takes up to 45 minutes to eat a bowl of cereal, it also has to be really, really soggy for him to eat it. He will chew each mouthful for up to 5 minutes, this morning this resulted him spitting all his mouthful out onto the floor. Has anybody had any experience of this at this age? Am wondering if puberty has started and so has kicked in all these problems again. Please help as I really don't know what to do about it now. I don't know if I can cope with it all again to be honest, the last time was really difficult.

I'm sorry that I don't have any experience of this, but if you get no joy here you could try the Dyscovery Centre message board where quite a few parents of Dyspraxic children post.
