DLA and HRM

Hi, bit of a back story.. my little girl has been on the ASD pathway since 3 years old, we applied for DLA and she was awarded HRC for 2 years as she also has night time needs...
I did her renewal and she was awarded HRC and LRM for another 2 years.. which I accepted originally and thought it was brilliant. However, now I think about things I believe my daughter should be entitled to HRM under SMI rules (I can prove everything on the flowchart) and she's literally on the last step towards being 'officially' diagnosed with Autism. Also, the paediatrician report states she is functioning at 3 years of age (she is almost 6).
My question is, how to I go about sending more info in abs evidence asking them to look at her award again? I'm past the point of mandatory reconsideration, do I just ask for a change in circumstances form?
Thank you in advance, any advice appreciated 🤞🏼

If you want DWP to relook the rates, you will need to call the ask for a change of circumstances. Be aware the award can go down as well as up.

It can be hard to prove “an incomplete physical development of the brain or a state of arrested development” without a diagnosis. Unless DD has another relevant diagnosis.

Thank you for your reply ☺️ I will probably wait for her official diagnosis then before risking her award without the full one, she only has a diagnosis for GDD at the minute but literally waiting on one last person on the panel to have their input for asd diagnosis

If DD already has a GDD diagnosis, that would satisfy the “incomplete physical development of the brain or a state of arrested development” part of the test. It is relevant even if DD doesn’t have an ASD diagnosis.
