Hi all
We had my daughters gp appointment today regarding her Fact and Fact +
They said she has got a lot of autistic traits and are referring her to a paediatrician.
So my question is do I carry on parenting her as I have done or do I need to change things to suit her?
I should've asked the gp but my mind went blank.

Would be good to start reading up on autism if you haven't already. This by Damian Milton is the best thing I've ever seen as an introduction:

It depends on how you’ve been parenting her to date. How old is she?

She's 9. And I know patience is the key just wondering if there's any advice out there.

This.

Is there something you/DD have been struggling with? For example, if sensory differences are causing problems the out of sync child book can be helpful to many. If emotional regulation is difficult, some find Ross Greene’s book The Explosive Child useful.
