I knew it was you on that other thread on pregnancy the other day.

Welcome back.

SixSpotBurnet · 27/03/2008 17:12

LOL!

Hi Graciefer! Do you mean the talipes thread?

Graciefer · 27/03/2008 17:16

Yes, the 20 week scan one.

SixSpotBurnet · 27/03/2008 17:19

Ah yes, I saw you had posted on it too. Doesn't time fly, can't believe it's so long already since your LO arrived!

Could I just point out that, whoever is allowed to sign up to this site and post, all of our threads are visible to the whole internet? Anyone using Google etc to search for particular terms can find information which we have posted here. I realise that is different from a poster coming on and asking leading questions to tempt us into saying things we wouldn't otherwise make public, but it is still worth remembering that there is no privacy.

I keep an eye on Google for recently published information on topics which interest me (Home ed rather than SN) and was startled the first time I found one of my own threads out there for everyone to see.

As someone who is new to mumsnet that is exactly how I found it, through googling my ds2's symptoms, problems etc and it took me to a thread on mumsnet!

Thank goodness it did however as I found it invaluable in these early post diagnosis days.

coppertop · 27/03/2008 19:44

Cazcaz - That's how I ended up here too. I googled some of ds1's behaviours and it listed a MN post with all of them on there.

SSB - When I read further down about the pregnancy thread I thought for a moment that there was some unexpected news.

SixSpotBurnet · 28/03/2008 12:00

Coppertop - my whole life flashed before my eyes there .
