Anyone have anything to say about this school? Good or bad. I see there’s a thread on here about it but it was started in 2014. Looking for an excellent independent school for my 10 year old ideally in East Sussex that specialises inADHD and Dyslexia.
Thank you in advance.

I don't have a child there but they did offer my son a place. In the end we chose somewhere else but it was a hard decision as Northease is lovely. I know lots of very happy parents of kids there. There was a wobble recently when the LAs that typically fund places there (E Sussex, Brighton & Hove, W Sussex) refused to increase their fees, but this was resolved. They are a special school but have a fairly mainstream feel (in a good way) - good for able kids who need a small, calm, specialist environment but can access a more or less mainstream curriculum. They have a very thorough assessment process so they only offer places to the right kids (3 days attending the school I think). As they are private you will have a battle to get LA funding but most do in the end. And if you are in the fortunate position of being able to afford private school their fees are not hugely different to mainstream private schools and they'll take self funded pupils.

I have heard good things about it from a parent who visited, loved it but it was too far for her and her daughter went to the Hive in Hove instead. The situation and grounds are lovely and therapeutic. They have a pool. They wont do visits unless you have an EHCP though i am told.
