ADOS score ‘high’ - what does this mean?

Our 11 year old DD is going through assessment for autism - I’ve had a phone call from the lead clinician to arrange the feedback / diagnosis meeting with us. She mentioned in passing that she had just finished scoring the ADOS assessment and that DD had scored ‘high’ - does that mean Dd will be given an autism diagnosis? I sort-of want to know before the meeting so that I can manage my own feelings on the subject, because I need to help DD manage hers, if that makes sense?

the meeting is in two weeks so I won’t have long to wait. This has all been something of a whirlwind - due to husbands employment we have been able to access private screening so from school first raising this with us it’s only been a couple of months. I know how incredibly lucky we are to be able to get seen so quickly, but I also feel a bit shocked that it’s moved so fast! I need more time to get my head round everything.

A high score indicates ASD, but the ADOS shouldn’t be used on its own for diagnosis, rather used in conjunction with other information as part of the overall assessment.
