dd was sat at a table choking(seriously-bright red/purple, shaking, eyes looked terrified)and her so called friends were laughing at her

i am so sad for her, she tries so hard but everything is just so much harder for her....
but this reaction...i felt like crying(dd was)

oh chatee

I don't know what to say

TotalChaos · 06/03/2008 21:58

sorry to hear this, hope she is OK now.

she was so upset and didn't really get over the incident(she kind of becomes angry at every one/thing and goes into a bad temper/ mood) which is difficult to handle- definetly a teenage kevin syndrome.....

it was a case of tea and put to bed early

but i am still so sad about the original incident that no one (table of 6 children, 3 from her class and one 10 year old-can't remember the other)attracted the attention of an adult to help her and the two next to her were definetly laughing at her

her face keeps haunting me

oh darling

you know I bet they would have laughed whoever it was

sometimes it is easy to forget that kids can be nasty

children were relentlessly mindlessly cruel to me at that age and I wasn't even disabled

thanks capp- you are most probably right that they would have laughed at anyone, most probably a bit too sensitive as it was my dd but it was a scary situation for a few moments(but just looking at the screen whilst typing i keep seeing her face-awful) am going to go in and have a peep at her sleeping peacefully to get a nice image in my mind
