Autism in my 3 year old ?

Would you say these are traits of autism at all ?
My daughters got a paediatrician appointment in about 2 months just have to wait for a letter with appointment date on it the gp had said for adhd and autism .
My daughter will be 4 in the beginning on February and she’s really delayed with her speech and only now she’s starting to improve alot trying to copy everything I say just doesn’t use proper sentences .
When she doesn’t know the right word to use she’ll lead my hand to where she wants me to go or what she wants me to get .
She will spin here and there looking out the corner of her eyes and when she is either excited or angry there’s a lot of hand flapping there .
She has to be naked all the time whenever she is indoors and will scream shout kick hit when I try to put her clothes on , or when she’s at home she gets changed like 10 times a day Into different clothes ! It use to be her coat she did not want to take that off at all and would scream if I did but now she wants to be naked instead or just change into different clothes all time .
When I call her she’ll look sometimes but most of the time no it’s like she picks and chooses I’m not sure .
she likes random objects and wants to bring them out with her like a toothbrush for instant .
She hasn’t got any problems with other children she will play with them but only if they approach her and come to her first and she does make a lot of noises with her mouth also just like clicking noises or tut tut

Hi

Sounds very similar to my 3 year old - her speech has come along way but theres still lots of babble and echolalia seems to be increasing.

Has she had a hearing test? If she’s not answering it’s good to rule it out.

Yeah she has had a hearing test and that’s come back all good

Yes, Health Visitor agreed to refer her to SALT last September (we are STILL on the waitlist!) so we went private in March, and the therapist there asked if we had considered autism to be the factor behind her delay. Nursery also agreed as she was starting to struggle, so they put whats called an 'IEP' in place to help support her. We have our first appointment with the pediatrician next month after the speech therapist wrote a letter to refer her.

A diagnosis doesn't change anything - you can still get help in school with an EHCP etc when they get older, or even now in nursery if needed. But at least once you know, you get to the acceptance stage that their brain just processes things differently, and thats ok.
