I feel really funny posting this as if I maybe having a paranoid moment...but...

dont know if you remember my last neighbours, how they used to say dd was disabled because we didnt do enough or look after her properly...

well this neighbour has hinted the same :( and I am feeling really weak about it

dd looks very normal and it is just really getting me down. My own relatives thinks she is normal and it is driving me mad. Of course she is gorgeous but she has very severe problems and no one understands this :( bugger

They are just being ignorant arent they? tell me to ignore...

at all these stories (although I couldn't resist a at the absolute bl**dy cheek of Mr Ducatti asking for an electricity cable).

When ds1 was going through his worst meltdowns I was sure that some well-meaning neighbour would phone Social Services. It sounded as though we were murdering him I'm sure. Instead the neighbours turned out to be lovely. On one side of us we have a couple with 2 teenage children. On the other side is a a man in his early 60's. Whenever we try to apologise for the noise levels the older man tells us that he had 2 sons himself so knows a fair bit about noisy children. The couple said something similar.

The only trouble we've had was when dh took ds1 to one of the local shops (part of a well-known chain of small shops). They are notorious for being cr@p at service and people often dump the stuff they wanted to buy and walk out in protest after waiting for ages to be served. Anyway ds1 got fed up with the long wait, shouted and tried to do a runner. The snotty cow on the till said "Can't you keep him under control??" Under control????? He's not a dog FFS! Dh walked out.

I wanted to write to the head office and complain but dh said not to bother. Instead we just boycotted the place and took our custom elsewhere. It looks as though everyone else is doing the same because there are hardly any customers in there anymore. With any luck they'll be closing down soon.
