Recommendations for books to help DD9 with peer relationships and compromise

DD9, not diagnosed SN (assessed for ASD and not) but on SEND list at school due to attention / focus issues and social issues. She has one friend, very close, which is great, but a wider group of friends would be good; class teacher very supportive of this. Meanwhile, her teacher mentions that DD finds compromise in peer work a challenge. DD can be stubborn at home and is not skilful socially, so I shouldn't have been surprised, but I must admit I did feel a slight sinking feeling when I learned this today.

Can anyone recommend any books I could share with her (picture / graphic or stories, but I am imagining chunky picture, non-fiction type books) that could help with social skills / compromising / working with peers? She is already in a support group at school to help with social skills / confidence.

Anyone know of any good books - for her, or in fact for me? Thank you so much for any pearls of wisdom or suggestions!

Not a book, but the Double Empathy idea that Damian Milton talks about might help - it argues that autistic communication is just as good as NT communication and NTs should learn to understand it better. So it's a two way accommodation - helps to frame it on a way that is less relentlessly depressing.

The book “The unwritten rules of friendship” might be helpful for this and has a lot of good advice on general social skills stuff.
