This is an online quiz, just click the 'Go straight to quiz' button, which has over 100 questions...but i think worth doing!
(especially for those of us who following diagnosis of AS realise that other family members seem AS too!!!!)

I did this test and then got my DH to do it too. He is the one who gets the "blame" for passing interesting traits onto DS2 (suspected AS). Guess what? I came out more aspie than DH, although we both came out as probably NT. We have had a good laugh about it and it did make us think. My DH has gone out into the world and tackled things that interest and challenge him, changing himself from a slightly odd child (I have known him since we were 16) to a capable adult by willpower and application whereas I have always done unchallenging jobs and stayed at home with the kids, it makes me optimistic for my children when they struggle at school and makes me realise that I need to get out more!
DH did come out as possibly OCD and he has had treatment for a phobia so the test must be reasonably sensitive.

i got likely to receive a dx of adhd/add, which does not surprise me in the slightest.
Didn't match any of the others, including AS.

I just did this for DS1 who's only 6 so I had to answer 'don't know' to a lot of the questions. He came out as 75/200 AS, 100/200 NT - so a mixture of the two, which is what I've always suspected. High score for dyspraxia though (140) even though school have just assessed him and don't think he's dyspraxic

I have been putting off doing this quiz but finally got brave enough to do it. It's weird as i kinda wanted it to tell me i was.... likely something, so i could have a connection with DS but it said i was very likely neurotypical. I have made a friend do this who came out as socially phobic which she totally agreed with. It's very good and i wish i could do it for DS but he is still too young.

I looked at the test out of curiosity and there are two questions along the lines of "are you affected by high pressure/humid weather?" Does anyone know what that is meant to be an indication of as I am?

bullet123 · 20/02/2008 23:07

Well, with myself I get headachey, irritable, can't concentrate and come close to crying when the weather gets above the early 70s, especially if there's no breeze. Which to be honest I think is fairly common with most people, but I do remember I used to be affected more than my sisters were.

ChiefFairyCakeMaker · 21/02/2008 12:53

Hi bullet

Yes I get a really bad headache when it's humid like before a thunderstorm, I don't think your reaction is that common though surely or how would they cope in hot countries?!

As it's asked in the Asperger's Quiz which tests for several different neurological disorders, I wondered which one it was supposed to be linked to?
