Hi, just looking for some advice if anyone can help. My dd is 17 months old and has a rare brain disorder and because of this is not going to be able to walk or talk. Im desparately looking for a rearward facing pushchair that has got a wide seat as i want it to last for as long as possible. At the moment i have a loola which is great in the summer but in the winter once you put a cosytoes toes in and shes got her jacket on theres hardly any room for her and i cant extend the harness any further and shes not even that big. Any suggestions? HELP!

there are SN pushchairs, but I am not sure that any of them are rear-facing?
Trying to think of a normal big seat rear-facing. Maybe one of the bigger M&P's?

Our Mothercare Urban Detour has lasted for ages - really wide seat but forward facing. Notice they've just brought out some that can be rearward facing too but only seen a picture so don't know how they compare in seat size. If you want one to last it needs to be fairly robust.

M&P classic is pretty wide, they crop up 2nd hand regulary too. Silver cross do a similar one.

I have a NURSE 3 wheeler that I brought from Misdee, and it has a huge seat. But not rear facing.

Thanks for all response. Thank UniS will have a look at M&P, do u know if they still make the classic or is it an old one. The only silver cross ones i've seen convert from a pram to pushchair, are these the ones you mean. Never thought buying a pushchair would be such a problem. Thanks chasingsquirrels, but the only SN ones i,ve seen are to big for my dd yet, and they look awful, seems like if you've got special needs your not worth having a nice pushchair.

I guess if you want it to last it will be big for a 17mo! But I understand what you mean.
I have a small umbrella fold Bebe Confort Activ (model pre-Loola) and a 3-wheeler Baby Style Cyclone, both of which are rear facing, but both are bucket type seat and probably wouldn't fit a child past 3yo.
I had a (goes off to google) Ingelsina Magnum, it was enormous, and I didn't keep it, but it would certainly last and seemed well built. Really nice pram. I wouldn't want to use it as a main pushchair lifting in and out of the car though.
Have you looked on e-bay?

The M&P classic we had was IIRC a "pramette" it had a pram top and a pushchair top either of which sat on top ( facing forward OR rear) of a classic chassis 4 wheels with a big basket and some suspension. it wasn;t a very compact fold though if I took teh wheels off ( quick relase) it would fold down to fit in teh boot of our mid size hatchback with out having to take teh top off teh chasis. It looked like this one

or the modern version

only older ( 3rd hand when we had it, now gone back the its 2nd family for child 2), the pushchair bit looked VERY similar, it reclined almost flat but was big enough for a chunky toddler. the bar across was removable with a bit of fiddling.
