Looking for Christmas present ideas for a 6 year old autistic boy - especially anything that you've found makes life easier! He's highly sensory seeking, has poor fine motor skills, gets easily frustrated if he can't do things well. We already have a blackout tent, body sock, weighted blanket. I'd love to hear about any presents your children have particularly loved and that you've got good use out of!

Ikea spinny chair and gym mat, yoga ball. All huge hits here.

Giant connect four. He loves slotting the discs in and outing them out.

the regular table top ones are too weak (for my wild child!)

What's your budget, Op?

My son has a similar profile and he really loved all the following:

Peanut therapy ball - he literally bounces and throws himself around on this.

Fidget toys. Good for trying to improve hand sensitivity and fine motor skills as well as giving them a bit of a stim. DS especially loves popping tubes and whacky tracks

Slime, play doh and kinetic sand - again good for sensory stimulation.

Teeter popper - DS has outgrown his now but loved sitting and rocking in it.

Thank you! I posted on the general Christmas thread and got a lot of similar suggestions. I'm definitely going to look at a peanut ball and/or teeter popper, I think he will love something like that. Budget not so much of an issue but space is!

A Gorilla gym or Southpaw kit. Or if you have the space, an indoor trampoline.
