DS is 11, he is autistic and has learning delays - working at year 2 level at school. Currently in mainstream with but trying to get him into a sen school. If he was in a sen school this would probably be easier, but mainstream not so much.

tbh I think he's rather unlikely to talk about it at school without being promoted first, it's if others start talking about it.

he still believes in Santa. Santa isn't s huge thing in this house really, parents but most gifts and Santa just a few things.

he has questioned Father Christmas before, he isn't stupid. Maybe he doesn't truly believe.

of course the easiest solution would be to tell him but he doesn't get secrets and Dd 7 still believes, he will tell her for sure!! She also has additional needs and young for her age.

do secondary kids really talk about it?? My mother told me in year 6 but honestly I can remember any kids talking about it at secondary school!

Personally as DS is in MS I think you have to say something as kids can be cruel.
