Off to Bibic - where to stay?

Title says it all, really! We're off at the end of Jan (all a bit rushed as got a cancellation slot)

Dd1 is GF/CF so b&b's can be a bit tricky as she can't have her beloved porridge of a morning... anyone have experience of any self-catering nearby?

Or recommend somewhere helpful who'll let me use their microwave to cook for the dds?

bungalow on site is okish but a bit deserted at night. we stayed in travel lodge last time we stayed but not sure of microwaves (although do not but their breakfast box of £5, full of cr*p!). travel lodge was £50 for a family room per night.

thanks - the bungalow is being demolished so think we may pass on that

Dh was thinking travel lodge (there's always one nearby lol) but not yet come across one with a microwave so food will be an issue...

Cannot contemplate the grim horror that will be sharing a room with both dds (3 1/2 and 11 months) - I am hopeless when sleep deprived, but it's all in a good cause [weak smile]

We stayed in a B&B at nearby Woolavington. The owners are lovely, and I am sure they would let you use their microwave to heat up things for your DD.

CAT me if you would like more details.

All the best,

Thanks mm22bys, have sent a CAT

Hiya

here

If mm22bys place is full please CAT me- as well as being BIBIC users I am from Bridgwater (moved away 3 years ago) so know the area very well indeed LOL

If you start looking, Woolavington, Puriton, Bawdrip, PAwlett, West Huntspill, Bridgwater, Highbridge / Burnham On Sea, and then onto Ashcott etc are all within 30 mintes drive (starting close and going from there)

HTH
