So, today I was chattng to my ds's psych on 'phone, about hw I ddidn't wantany health visitors to be there when I next have an appointment with her. She said that she totally understood, since
'They don't let you ask questions and talk over you all the time'
Yes, she took the words right out of my mouth.
So have appointment with psych on Wed to discuss pl-ados results, was supposed to be last Wed but had to be postponed, because I wanted psych to do another observation to get more accurate picture of my ds.
I htin my ds has improved alot since his last official observation, but has also developed new problems, like constant spinning, not wanting to wear shoes, etc.
She even agreed that sometimes they appear to be lying about symptoms, or to put it in her words 'over optimistic generalisations'
Also went ot see special school and dep head said she would accept my ds while waiting for statement, which is great.
So now I have to get statement sorted, but atleast I know how to do that thanks to mumsnet!
This place is great!
Helps me to keep my sanity!
Thanks everyone!

that sounds really positive Deeja. I had a nurse at my door today and my first thought was HV, and my heart sank, lol, she was looking for someone else, must've been a district nurse.

good news about the place at school too, I hope the ap goes okay on Wed.
