Hi,
So my son who has a diagnosis of Autism is moving to Secondary school in September. This week I've have been filling out the information forms and not sure if I should take offence at the wording upon it. There is a part to fill in about additional needs and the drop down box of options has 'Problems with Autism' as the option. It also included 'Problems with dyslexia' ect. Am I being too sensitive or is this just not worded very well. I suppose I feel that this insinuates that he is seen as a problematic child. Couldn't they have just put 'Autism' and leave it at that?!
I know in the grand scheme of things it isn't the worst thing to take offence at, but it just made me feel annoyed.

Really bizarre as well as really thoughtless. It's definitely the least pleasant way I've ever seen this phrased.
