Well....my visits to mcDonalds are getting more eventful by the minute.....leigh still insists on wearing his happy meal box for the whole time we are there.....tom empties the whole tomato sauce dispenser [exageration] ....and i get confused everytime when i order the meals....and then talk in jibberish trying to explain myself

But tonight was an oscar winning performance.

I was playing with leigh's happy meal toy..... Captain Hook's hook....(there is a little switch on it which makes the hook move )....and after about ten flicks of the switch the hook flew off and landed at the next table in a woman's meal.

Me being the forgiving soul that i am expected a smile from her as i apologised profusely (jibbering again)....but all she did was frostily slam it on our table.

Today started badly when i grabbd the pump toothpaste to wash my hands....instead of the soap dispenser and didn't notice till i was attempting to lather up my hands.

I think I remember doing that with my sister when I was younger (many, many moons ago), yes!

Ds is getting very good at all the dance moves, but I just love it that he doesn't care what he looks like and if he's totally out of beat, he just moves - and makes me laugh and then does it more to make me laugh. Maybe Mummy watches too many music channels, there's usually music around in the house.

I think I know every Thomas song by now, and I bet you still know all the words too....a bit like when you hear "Agadoo" or "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" in the morning and it gets stuck in your head all bloody day.

I'm gonna try the ear thing with him tomorrow - I bet he loves it!

There are three groups (sort of) locally. It's 3 hours and we pay £4 for the whole family. I go with him so that I can relieve the supervisor with him for half an hour or so.

I was just texting my friend who goes and saying that my ds and I may not go anymore as I am not very happy. It has become very disjointed of late and we both made a complaint about it earlier this year. I can feel another one coming on. More and more lately, the supervisors are not turning up and there are many families who are not catered for. The idea originally was for parents to go and know that when their children were playing and being supervised that we could go to the parents room and flake out, read the resources, or talk about dx's or what sort of week/difficulties we have had. But lately, we are taking care of our children and not able to talk to other members about concerns etc. I feel this is unfair. The group I go to is alternate Saturdays only and not in the Summer holidays, so a long time to go without the contact.

i agree- if you are having to 'care' at the group then that defeats the point- lot of effort getting him there and back (emotionally etc) -so to not get the chance to 'download' to the other parents whilst you are there sucks!!

'i wimmyway i wimmyway........!

Agadooo doo doo, push pineapple shake the tree! Arghhhh!

Thank you, you put it more concisely in a few sentences instead of loads of waffle. Think I will write a letter. Goodnight MrsF, sweet wimmyway dreams! x
