I was so suprised today

got up this morning went downstairs and was having coffee. could hear
"mum" "mum" over and over.
I thought it was ds (nt and 15) thought lazy sod he can come down.
the realised...........crept upstairs. ds soud asleep.
It was dd. she was calling me. dd who can't talk.
cue very happy 2shoes

normally when she says mum. she really has to work at it. but this was just so clear.
she calls dh by his first name as she can say it. so I have caught up at last

What a clever dd!! Well done her! I had to wait till my ds was 7/8 he used to try and say Mother and it came out as Bugger, which was embarrassing in public places!!
