I have a ds who was 3 in july he started nursery in september. My ds has always been a little livewire I once left a party because he was running riot, he always seems so over excited about things for example childrens parties he just goes a bit wild and runs around crazily. Recently we had his parents evening and the teacher said that work wise he is very clever loves jigsaws, painting, loves songtime ect however he struggles socially at the moment. I have noticed recently that he has started finger twisting but not doing it to himself but to others mainly his younger sister. The teacher said he is very lively and tends to push other children and finds it very difficult to share and he tends to be in other childrens faces alot. She also said that if he is for example doing a painting and they tell him to tidy away he wont do it untill has has completed what he is doing. He crawled/walked very early he is very very independant ie when he has his breakfast he has to put his bowl in the sink , he likes to wash himslef in the bath, he dresses himself ect. The teacher said they are monitoring him but I am so worried its causing me pain to think there might be something wrong and he isnt getting the support he needs. Lately he has started shouting at the top of his voice for no reason and the finger twisting is getting worse. Am I dealing with a typical 3 year old boy ? Any advice would be appreciated.
