Car finance - carer for disabled child

Hi, not sure if this is the best place to post this!

DS gets DLA, high care and low mobility. I'm a single parent and get carers allowance and a high amount of universal credit based on this. I'm wondering if anyone has managed to get car finance with a similar income? I have a decent credit score and actually have credit cards with more than enough available that I could use to buy a car outright but places such as the car shop don't allow this (I get why but it's shit because I have the money available and can afford to pay it back, it should be my decision), yet it seems unlikely I will be accepted for finance as the option is 'unemployed'. I think the CA definitely counts as my own income but obviously, it's not much, I don't think they will accept me based solely on that income? We really need a car, I currently can't get him to/from hospital appointments and have had to turn down support and clubs etc that would really help him which I am unable to get him to reliably, it's really frustrating. Tia

Can you get a motability car with your dla?
Or, some credit cards offer a type of loan, you take the cash as a money transfer (to your bank account from your credit card) and the apr is a set amount for a set time (so for example 4.9% for 3 years). That's only like a loan.

Hi, unfortunately not, we only get low rate for mobility so not entitled to any help with a car. That's a good idea and I will look into it, thanks for replying :)
